Design Team

Robert A. Alcalá II- Mr. Alcalá is an electrical designer/inspector with more then 11 years of construction experience related to building facilities, traffic signals, and roadway lighting. Mr. Alcalá is also a licensed electrician with sound knowledge of the electrical field and provides construction insight during the design process. Mr. Alcalá has installed and designed power distribution, lighting, branch circuits, fire alarm, telecommunication, low voltage, programmable logic control, traffic signal, and street lighting systems.
Mr. Alcalá's hands-on experience for the pre-design field investigations and construction phase electrical inspections will provide the appropriate requirements related to the current project.

Eric Nichols- Mr. Nichols is an electrical deisgner/inspector with construction experience related to traffic signals and roadway lighting. Mr. Nichols design experience includes highway lighting modifications to facilitate the widening of US60 from I-10 to McClintock in Phoenix, AZ, design of ramp lighting for the improvements to the I-17/McGuireville TI per ADOT Standards, and design of roadway lighting per City of Peoria Standards for Thunderbird Road from 94th Avenue to Loop 101.
Mr. Nichols electrical inspection experience includes Red Light Running Installations at various Phoenix valley locations, Indian School Road - Litchfield to Dysart, Avondale, AZ, El Mirage Rd. and the 303, and the Loop 101 between the 202 Red Mountain Freeway and 202 San Tan.

Drafting Services

Alex Robles - Mr. Robles has over 7 years experience in CAD operation. Mr. Robles has worked on projects which include residential, commerical, parks, roadway, street lighting, etc.

Sandy Cooper - Ms. Cooper has more then 34 years experience in electrical design and drafting with emphasis on facilities power distribution (high and low voltate), control systems, and computer packaging. Ms. Cooper has worked on projects which include residential, commerical, parks, roadway, street lighting, etc.

Aaron Baxter – Mr. Baxter has over 8 years in CAD operation. Mr. Baxter has worked on projects which included residential, commerical, parks, roadway, street lighting, etc. While working on different projects Mr. Baxter has assisted on several traffic signal designs, lighting calculations, and voltage drops.

Electrical Field Inspectors

Donald Gutierrez – Mr. Gutierrezis an electrician with over 15 years of consturction experience related to traffic signals and roadway lighting for both the Phoenix and Tucson areas. Mr. Gutierrez's experience is both as the installation electrician and the project supervisor coordinating the work tasks of the construction crews.
Elements of inspection services included physical inspection of conduit, wire, and equipment, along with documentation of installed quantities. Mr. Gutierrez has also witnessed and conducted start-up procedures for traffic signals, roadway lighting, and FMS applications.
